Project Artaud

A series of white pavilions, based on the 4’x 8’ plywood module, occupy one edge of a two-story loft space in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco. Based loosely on the white architecture of the artist’s Greek wife, the pavilions serve discrete functions as they subdivide the larger space into living and studio zones. Sliding steel partitions allow further spatial subdivision and articulate various levels of privacy. 2011-
