House for N+S

Discrete building volumes—each with their own program—align along a continuous two-story circulation spine. Exposed concrete structural systems, white glass staircase and polished concrete floor contrast volcanic stone, Madagascan hardwood and local slate. Full-height glass doors slide away and out of view, opening the free-plan interior to the pool and volcanic landscape on the horizon. 2000.
